SPEAKER: Edward G. Dudley, PhD

E. coli Reference Center Director and
Professor of Food Science
Pennsylvania State University,
University Park, PA

Dr. Dudley’s research uses molecular biology techniques to better understand the biology and evolution of foodborne pathogens, and to develop improved methods of tracking the spread of these organisms from farm to fork.  His lab works with both the State Health Dept and US FDA to help populate whole genome sequence databases with foodborne isolates.
